Towing Operator Frazier Arrested On New Charge

A Hooker Road towing operator who was charged with impounding abandoned cars without the owner’s permission has been arrested again.
Inspector Glenn Lemley said a new count has been filed against Buddy V. Frazier Sr., owner of Absolute Towing, who already faced seven felony counts.
Frazier earlier made a $70,000 bond. He was arrested again on Wednesday.
Inspector Lemley said the latest incident happened Sept. 4 when Absolute Towing picked up a vehicle belonging to Freddie Martin of 1605 Milne St. at 6:30 a.m.
The officer said the vehicle was legally parked on a city street in front of a residence at 414 N. Willow.
He said Mr. Martin was later contacted and told he would have to pay several hundred dollars to retrieve his vehicle.
Inspector Lemley said the Martin vehicle was located at Absolute Towing on Wednesday and was being returned to the owner.
The new charge is theft over $1,000.
Criminal Court Judge Rebecca Stern signed the warrant.
Police said Frazier would impound as many as 20 vehicles a day he found along the roadway and would take them to be crushed for scrap metal.
Officers said they also found 20 engines that had been stripped from vehicles at his business.
Frazier already faced three counts of theft over $1,000, three counts of storing or towing a vehicle without express written authorization and one count of hindering a secured creditor.
Now this guy is a, I was gonna say idiot but that is not quite a strong enough word so maybe evil brainless idiot. Totally unreal. And lives on Hooker Road which if I remember correctly is where the tow truck manufacturer Hooker Haulers is. Guess maybe hauling cars is in his blood. Wonder what he will be haulin in prison? 😉
