Camper progress Oct 23 – 25, 2007
Got bits and pieces done. Spent quite a bit of time finding enough tile to do the kitchen counter and then figuring out the pattern.
Decided to start at the top in doing the kitchen so put the top kitchen shelf in first. Then put in the water jug enclosure and added bracing from the ceiling. Supports it fine.
Flooring installed on right side between couch and storage area.
Flooring installed on left side between wheel well and couch.
Flooring installed from trailer end to wheelwell where refrigerator or ice chest will sit.
Covering over storage area by toilet. Attached at top only.
Framing around wheel well.
Base framing for electrical control area.
Checking that water container and ice chest have room to ride properly.
Checking that refrigerator and water can ride together.
After digging out years of scraps of ceramic tile this was the pattern I came up with to cover the kitchen counter. Cat spent the afternoon cleaning them. Hope to get them put on this weekend.
Center tile panels. Some differnce in height but I think they will work ok.
Center and end panel.
Other end.
Kitchen shelf initial install.
Shelf support.
Water jug enclosure and shelf support. Tis very sturdy.
Shelf and water jug enclosure and top support.
Water jug back view. Bungee cord hooks around square board at back and runs through handle and then back to board to hold jug in place. I think it could travel in this position without any problems but will still store it on the floor at least the firs t few times.
Enclosure with jug removed.
Shelf above couch. 7.5 inches deep, 74 inches long. Front molding 1.5 inches above shelf surface.
Wall covering above kitchen counter installed.
More as I get it done. 😉
