From left to right:
Me taking the mounting hardware I have just finished off the leg vice to take pix of all the pieces.
The first 4 leaf clover (Cat found it) of the season in a 1/4 inch monkey tool.
The Champion blower on my forge.
My anvil shaped object on it’s stump.

Talk about wire pollution. These photos are of communications and power cables in Thailand. Not sure where the title came from. The above link is to a babelfish.com translation of the original Russian page. The translated text is more than a little convoluted at the very least. The pix are also posted below and are linked to fullsized images.

And YES it hurt as much as it looks like it would.  These pix were taken the evening of Thursday August 10, 2006 no matter what the camera time stamp says.

Automotive addictions and general tomfoolery: Accessory turn signals of the 20’s and 30’s

Some of theses I have seen. Some only heard of and others are new/real old. Love the skull!

Update: Just sitting here and noticed that this is (on my monitor anyway) larger than life.    Looks from measuring a dime that the one in the picture measures 3/4 inch and a real dime is 11/16 so the skull is about 2 3/4 inches wide and maybe 4 inches tall.  The word “STOP” looks to have letters about a half of an inch high. Gonna notice that from a distance. Right…

Volkswagen Beetle art car on Flickr – Photo Sharing!

Dave Winer’s new header graphic at Scripting News is a howl!  It’s a picture he took at the “How Berkeley Can You Be parade” today.  Wonderful stuff! Note the tag on the left – GLASQLT, Glass Quilt maybe?  Would fit the car. 😉 Lots of other pictures of interesting stuff there too.  Thanks for sharing Dave!
