Techdirt: Harvard Bookstore Claims Book Prices Are Copyrighted

The first time I saw this I thought it was pretty stupid and that some one was working on their minimum wage god complex, then as more and more facts emerged I find that it’s store policy all the way to the top.

Now that’s STUPID! The president of the company should know better, and if he/she/it doesn’t, the person that was shown the door due to this policy needs to have their lawyers point it out. Of course I suspect that all the internet publicity this little incident has generated will help in that regard. Should also help keep folks from buying ANYTHING there, which will allow the store keep all of their “intellectual property” for themselves…
