   MOST excellent! And how was Spider harmed by posting that online? Not at all, I say–it makes me want to read more of his work, which will mean buying some of it, I suppose. No problem, I will willingly pay for good reading material. Everyone in business gives free samples of some sort, why not artists? It only makes sense–if you are confident that people will like your work, give some away, and someone will want to buy more. If not, then you need to be in another business. Treat your customers, now or future, as thieves, and Surprise! they will act as thieves. Everyone knows this, except the entertainment executives. But then, they know nothing but “How much have you made for me today?”
