French bicycle racer, Latourneau pulled an Airstream caravan in 1947 to demonstrate how light it was. We think it also demonstrates how much you can tow on a bicycle trailer.

Neat trick, but I would NOT like to be trying to take that thing down ANY kind of grade…that could get real interesting REAL fast…and could get real FAST real fast, too…
Yep, stopping would really be a problem. But think of the muscles you would build up!
Don’t you know that getting the balance right in that Airstream was a real pain. Note the single axle. Just a bit of a shift to the rear and bike and rider would be in the air. Bike until trailer was rebalanced, rider until gravity took over for inertia…
