Techdirt: Diebold Machine Didn’t Count Votes, But Diebold Says Not To Worry: They Can Tell You The Actual Vote Totals

Paper and pencil or pen doesn’t have this problem.    Just a pain to count.  But there IS a trail there unlike the electronic machines.  Now we get to watch yet another election get stolen thanks to Diebold and the asshats in power.  I still say lets vote them ALL out and start over!

To hell with the US mint.  I’d use them if there were places around here that accepted them.  Anything to show my nonsupport to this nonwar that the nonprez has the country in.

Linux.com | Task management made simple with todo.txt and Tux ToDo

Tux ToDo is a lightweight, fast and simple todo list manager.  Just downloaded it and after decompressing clicked on the executable and it launched within a second.  Basic interface but it seems to have everything needed to keep a todo list up to date without much overhead.  Just what the disorganized person needs.

GNUzilla – Summary [Savannah]

The home to the GNU version (to be) of FireFox named IceWeasel.   Nothing here yet but a bit of text and some source code links but with Mozilla getting sh*tty about the logo and name this is the way to go.  Hope this works out.

Boing Boing: Shampoo eBay seller threatened by manufacturer for photographing product

Jamie Olson from California bought some Aquage shampoo, made by SalonQuest, and offered it for sale on eBay. Her eBay listing included her own photos of the product. Soon after, a private investigator hired by SalonQuest, emailed Olson, demanding the she stop selling the shampoo.

SalonQuest, another manufacturer that I will never buy from. Stupid lawyers and their pointless (other than to line their pockets) lawsuits…
