Bit of nothing Thursday
Guess I over did it with the shelves and books, so today was mostly spent on the couch. Did get out for a short while this afternoon to pick up a few books and a set of Noritake china that we’re going to have up for sale here shortly. It’s a 90 (? haven’t counted it yet so may be off by a piece or two) piece set bought in Japan in 1950 or 51, marked Occupied Japan on the bottom. Nice stuff! Will have pictures and such up and a link to the sale site(s) asap. Other than that and shelving a very few books been mostly lazy today. Just too hot to do much and too sore even if it wasn’t. Hoping tomorrow will be a more productive day. Till then… 😉

Thursday was a good one to stay on the couch, methinks. It was HOT. I know this is Alabama, and it’s June, but it was HOT. Especially in a metal building with no ventilation….it actually wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be, but I did end up opening the doors for ventilation once I was out there for more than 5 minutes at a time. Makes moving things around even more of a joy. Oh, well, so it goes…
Sitting here drinking coffee and seeing several minor projects staring me in the face for the weekend. If I can come up with something for supper tonight tht doesn’t take too long to cook, I may try and start tonight. Just have to see how the day goes–if I do all I should today, I may not have the energy to do much tonight. Just gotta think positive. Have a good one, and stay cool…
