Easy? So where is the recipe? Don’t tease us and not follow through there, Steve! 😉

Ok. No problem, I was just waiting to be asked…

    3 cups Bisquick
    2/3 cup water
1 can Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup (or any other brand, I suppose)
    1 lb. hot breakfast sausage
    1 cup grated/shredded cheddar cheese

While the sausage is browning, preheat the oven to 375 degrees and mix the other ingredients in a bowl, and use Pam or some kind of lubricant in the muffin tin. (The ONLY problem I have had with this recipe is separating the muffins from the tin, or from the muffin cones. I have to oil the paper cones to keep them from sticking too bad. All that cheese, I guess. Going to have to get some Pam…) When the sausage is browned, drain it and break it up well, add it to the other ingredients, mix well. Put the mix into the pan/cones (I find this recipe makes 12 fairly large muffins) and bake for 20 minutes or until brown on top. (In our oven, it takes 30 minutes, or 18 if we use “Speed bake”, a fan that circulates the air in the oven. Just watch them until they are firm on top and a little brown.) Take from oven, let cool just a little bit, and enjoy!

Thanks for the recipe! Sounds good! Will have to try it soon.

Suspect I will cook it in one of the dutch ovens as the sweet potato ones I did in there did so good. I think it does such a good job on breads and muffins due to the small space and high humidity. The latter being something you don’t get with a conventional oven, gas or electric but is there in a brick or mud oven which also do wonderful breads.
